Eyebrow Know-How: Getting beautiful eyebrowsGetting a pair of beautiful eyebrows is one of the most useful makeup trick on the planet. Many women overlook their eyebrows, or sometimes even worse, overpluck them. When it comes to eye makeup, the eyebrows make an important impression. They frame the eye and give the face a polished look. It is well worth making the effort to get the eyebrows looking right. Natural eyebrowsFor perfectly groomed eyebrows in an instant, try combining through them with a brush to flick away any powder or foundation. Comb the hairs upwards and outwards. This will also help give you a wide-eyed look. Then slightly slick them with clear gel to hold the shape in place. Grooming your browsIf your brows are spotty or sparse and you want to fill them in, there are several ways to do it. 1. Take an angled eyeshadow brush and press just a bit of eye shadow to the brow (medium or dark brown for brunettes, taupe for blondes or redheads, charcoal for silver or gray hair). Follow the direction of the brow and extend the brushed-on shadow to the edge of the eye. 2. Pat a tissue on top to blot up any excess. If your brows are really thin, you can pencil them in slightly thicker, but it's difficult to make this look natural. Take an eye pencil under the brow and follow the brow line out to the edge of the eye. Use your powder sponge to press some powder on top, very gently, to soften the line. Then use a brush to lightly fill it in with shadow. Eyebrow ColorTo define your brows you can use eyebrow powder or pencil. Apply powder, with an eyebrow brush, dusting it through your brows and taking care not to sweep it onto the surrounding skin. This gives a natural effect, and requires little blending. Alternatively, use a well-sharpened pencil to draw on tiny strokes, taking care not to press too hard or the finished effect will be unnatural. Then soften the lines you have made with the eye pencil by lightly stroking a clean cotton bud through your brows. Quick Eyebrow Tips
Straggly EyebrowsIt's a fair bet you won't even notice your eyebrows until they look messy! Try tidying them with regular tweezing sessions. The ideal time after a bath, when your pores will be open from the heat, so the hairs will be easier to remove. Before bedtime is also a good idea, as you don't have to face the day with reddened skin. Quickly brush your brows into place, so you can see the natural shape. Then pluck one hair at a time, in the direction of growth. First remove the hairs between your brows, and then weed out the undereye area. Tweeze any stray hairs at the outer sides. As a general rule, don't pluck above the eyebrow area or you will risk distorting the shape of your brows. The only exception if if there are hairs growing well above the natural browline. | Nadia go to a store that has a good reputation. Ask the ladys at your work or your friends where they get their eyebrows done at. Jessy you should go to a store to get your eyebrows trimmed and waxed (even if it grows back fast) it will help for your bushy eyebrows. | |

| I have a total problem! Since I was young my eyebrows have been thick. When I was in middle school I got them waxed and that was fine. However, they grew back so fast that I needed to tend to them everyday. So, I got a eyebrow razor and now the area under my eyebrows is dark and it looks terrible! I don't know what to do!! | |

| Does anybody have really really thick eyebrows and have to get them done all the time? Well I have really thick eyebrows but no one knows how I feel. I mean, I get them done, I pluck everyday and they are just so annoying! I just wish I had perfect eyebrows without them growing back because I honestly think that plucking is a waste of time. Does anybody understand how I feel and feel the same way?? | |

| Dont worry I do mine myself, used to get them perfect all the time till I thought they looked a bit messy on top so did the big no no and plucked away. I just kept on plucking and plucking, now they aren't just of different thickness, they are totaly different in shapes and one looks higher than the other but the worst thing is they dont grow back properly anymore so I'm stuck with them. I heard of some cream you can put on that makes them grow again. So I think I might try it. | |

| Every time I go to get my eyebrows done, I never get them both looking the same, one is either thicker than the other or thinner. Someone has spoiled the natural shape of my eyebrows, I am really fed up because every time I spend around £7.50 getting them done, each time hoping that if I leave them to grow a bit then I'll have more eyebrows to work with and therefore get a perfect shape but no, some one always messes them up. Does anyone know what I mean? | |
